Leadership FPRA (Scholarship closed for 2025)

LeadershipFPRA & Scholarship Info

LeadershipFPRA is a formal leadership program that provides FPRA members with the tools they need to become stronger leaders in their organizations, communities and local chapters.

Whether you are new to the industry or have practiced public relations for decades, LeadershipFPRA will equip anyone committed to learning with the leadership skills they need to succeed in their communities.

Program graduates are better equipped to function as professionals in their respective workplaces and the public relations industry. By participating in this program, you will also gain confidence and knowledge that will help strengthen your rightful seat at the boardroom table and allow you to grow further into leadership roles in FPRA and our community.

Tuition is $850 (not including travel and lodging) and the program consists of an orientation, five seminar-styled leadership training classes and a graduation ceremony. Class size is limited to 21 participants and consists of members from across the state.

Geo Ropert, APR Accreditation Scholarship

Honoring Geo

In 2021, under the leadership of then President Nina Salvaggio Wagner, APR, and VP of Accreditation, Samantha Senger, APR, CPRC, the Space Coast Chapter chose to honor Geo by naming an accreditation scholarship after him. Geo was a strong supporter of the accreditation process. He was always the first to volunteer to sit on our APR panels and of course was always the toughest panelist, as many of us can attest to. He wanted to make sure that the members who were taking the time to go through this process were not only ready but were representing our chapter as outstanding APR candidates. The chapter offers one scholarship a year based on availability and reimburses a newly accredited member for costs associated with obtaining their accreditation. We are honored to continue to share Geo’s legacy in this effort.
