Doris Fleischman Award

The Doris Fleischman Award is presented to a member who makes often unrecognized, “behind the scenes” contributions to the public relations profession and/or to FPRA. In essence, this is an “unsung” hero award intended to reward that individual who consistently provides support and assistance to the Association and their peers. This award is named after Doris Fleischman, business partner and wife of Edward L. Bernays, the “father” of public relations. It honors those FPRA members, who, like Mrs. Fleischman, make contributions to the field of public relations through consistent, tireless efforts that may often go unrecognized.

Nominees must be an active member of the Space Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Nominations will be considered and voted on by the Awards committee based on FPRA involvement and reasoning as to why the individual deserves to be honored.
