IT’S A WRAP!  2015 Annual Media Summit

From 2015: Thanks again to the 100+ attendees, reporters, speakers and sponsors who came together at the 2015 FRPA Media Summit and made it a huge success!

We welcomed representatives from: Al Día Today, The Associated Press (AP), Brevard Business News, CBS Radio, Central Florida News 13, Destination Brevard, Florida Today, Florida News Network Radio/iHeart Radio, FOX35 News Orlando WOFL, icFlorida / WFTV Online, Orlando Sentinel, Senior Life, Space Coast Business, Space Coast Daily, Space Coast Living, Space Coast Medicine, Spaceflight Insider, Viera MD, Viera Voice, WFIT Radio 89.5 FM, and WKMG Local 6. Thanks also to our guest speakers Michelle Irwin of the Brevard Public Schools and Deb Green of the Federal Aviation Administration. We also wish to congratulate 2015 Space Coast Chapter Image Award Winners from Health First and Kennedy Space Center for demonstrating excellence in PR, and FPRA State President Rachel Smith, APR, CPRC, and FPRA State Image Award Chair Terri Behling, APR, CPRC for joining us. Thanks again to the 80+ attendees, reporters, speakers and sponsors who came together at the FRPA Media Summit and made it a huge success!

We welcomed representatives from: News 13, FOX 35, Associated Press, Florida Today, Space Coast Living, Viera Voice & Senior Life, The Spaceflight Group, Space Coast Daily, Destination Brevard, and TC Chronicle. Key speakers included:  Lori C. Booker, APR – Founder & CEO, CBR Strategic Communications; Josh Wilson – Senior Manager, Public and Community Relations at Nemours; and Zenaida Gonzalez Kotala – Senior Communications Coordinator, UCF News & Information. We also wish to congratulate Image Award Winners from the Visiting Nurses Association of the Treasure Coast and Eastern Florida State College, and our very own Carey Beam who recently earned the APR designation. Last but not least, we’d like to thank our event sponsors and host: Canaveral Port Authority Maritime Center and SRA Research Group, and Rolling Readers (and to everyone who brought a children’s book for the book drive).
