Join us on May 21st as we meet with Gary McCann executive producer of the Runaway Country Music Festival—attracting tens of thousands of fans to the Space Coast each spring. In a few short years, Runaway Country has become the largest annual gathering of country music artists in the southeast, attracting top names including Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Lady Antebellum, the Charlie Daniels Band, Florida Georgia Line, and many up-and-coming artists.
Gary will provide the FPRA with a unique, behind-the-scenes look into PR, publicity and marketing for this multi-million dollar event. Learn about key announcements as far as a year in advance, and months of media interviews, pre-parties, promotions, and social media outreach leading up to the event. He’ll also shed light on how he and his team coordinate on-site participation of the media, sponsors, volunteers and super fans—all of whom play an important role in getting the word out, and making Runaway Country a huge success each year!
Tickets are $15 for FPRA Members, $18 for Students, and $20 for non-members (a $1 surcharge is applied for online payments). Space is limited – advance reservations recommended.
