			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WQCS Public Radio is looking for a sales person who believes that the art of the relationship matters more than the art of the deal; who gets excited by discussing the quality of the audience, rather than living by the latest rating numbers; and who is passionate about the community service mission of public radio.</p>
<p>WQCS needs a creative professional who is comfortable closing agreements with business and non-profit industry leaders.  We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.  A broadcast sales background is beneficial, but you could also come from other sales fields, such as public relations, marketing, or non-profit development.</p>

<div>The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) is seeking a Communications Assistant.The communicator will need to have relevant experience in determining the requirements of diverse audiences and developing communications that deliver targeted messages in an effective manner. He or she should have superior project management skills that include a proven ability to establish priorities, meet tight deadlines and manage a multi-faceted internal review process. This communicator will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain strong, constructive working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and business partners.Position Summary:</div>
<ul>
<li>Writing, editing and publishing a broad range of news stories targeted primarily to employees that help inform and educate about company strategies, initiatives and developments</li>
<li>Regular internal event and possible trade show/public event planning</li>
<li>Writing corporate news stories for CASIS intranet and internal newsletters</li>
<li>The successful candidate may also assist the Communications Team in the development, writing, editing, and distribution of communications such as news releases and other public-facing materials</li>
<li>Respond to stakeholder requests for information</li>
<li>With CASIS being a start-up organization, the Internal Communications Manager will also directly assist Director of Communications in day-to-day communications activities</li>
<li>Support other communications activities as required</li>
</ul>
<div>Principal Accountabilities:<br />
The communicator will need to have relevant experience in determining the requirements of diverse audiences and developing communications that deliver targeted messages in an effective manner. He or she should have superior project management skills that include a proven ability to establish priorities, meet tight deadlines and manage a multi-faceted internal review process. This communicator will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to build and maintain strong, constructive working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and business partners.A working knowledge of the aerospace business is a plus.This high-visibility position, based at the Kennedy Space Center, FL., involves a heavy workload, multiple tasks as assigned by the Director of Communications, constant coordination and occasional travel.  There is potential for early morning or evening/weekend work as well.<strong>Skills</strong>:<br />

<p>This position will provide support to the Communications Director in all aspects of day-to- day publicity, promotions and marketing including being the lead writer and editor of news releases, media advisories, a quarterly newsletter, scripts for event speakers, letters, space related auction item descriptions and certificates of authenticity. This position will also be responsible for brochure/ad copy, e-campaign copy and web content management. You must be able to able to develop online animated design, marketing collateral and advertisements layouts is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a STRONG WRITER, have Abode InDesign &amp; Photoshop skills, be detail-oriented and able to work under deadline pressure while multi-tasking.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Minimum Requirements</span></strong></p>
<p>Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, English, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or a closely related field preferred.  Five (5) years of workforce experience or experience in public relations activities required.  Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing and demonstrated computer proficiency using Desktop Publishing, PowerPoint Presentation software, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required. Ability to perform duties with limited supervision using professional discretion in a team setting required.  Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.</p>
<p>Additional qualifying education and/or experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted for the other on a year-for-year basis.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Compensation</span></strong></p>
<p>Hiring range from $44,000 to $66,000 based on experience.  Full-time employees are eligible to participate in an attractive benefits package after introductory period with successful job performance.<br />

<p><strong>Position summary:</strong></p>
<p>Under the direction of the Senior Director, Marketing and Policy Development, this position is responsible for multimedia design and development for the organization inclusive of website; electronic and print communications; and executive-level presentations for varied audiences. The incumbent must be an experienced web designer and visual communications professional, with both the competency and demonstrated track record to recognize opportunities and respond effectively to key challenges.</p>
<p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p> Develop and design persuasive web layout and design elements</p>
<p> Monitor and track website activity and trends to ensure measurable results</p>
<p> Monitor and maintain web content</p>
<p> Oversee creative design and development of all electronic and print publications, presentations, advertising and promotion, and marketing collateral</p>
<p> Create executive-level presentations for varied audiences</p>
<p> Ensure consistency in messaging and design among all communication vehicles</p>
<p> Coordinate media buying with print, broadcast, electronic, and outdoor media</p>
<p> Manage and update social media platforms</p>
<p> Provide assistance for initial computer hardware and software troubleshooting</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p> Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, web design, marketing, or related field desired</p>
<p> Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of web and graphic design</p>
<p> Knowledge of principles and practices of communications and visual presentation</p>
<p> Strong writing skills, including proper punctuation and grammar</p>
<p> Advanced computer literacy, including web and graphic design software and social media</p>
<p> 3-5 years of professional experience in web design, graphic design, or related field</p>
<p><strong>Software knowledge:</strong></p>
<p> Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe</p>
<p>Photoshop, Microsoft Office 2007.</p>
<p><strong>Special requirements:</strong></p>
<p> Must be available to attend after hours functions as required. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Contribution and Competencies</strong></p>
<p>Avera’s Marketing Strategist will be the lead creative force behind the organization’s strategic brand development and positioning strategy. They will create the go-to-market strategy and develop the marketing message to effectively position the company. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on marketing professional with practical experience in the areas of marketing, public relations, advertising and/or brand management. They value quality work and high-performance; they are a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and a desire to win in the market. This role reports directly to Avera’s Chief Executive Officer.</p>
<p>Specifically, the required duties and responsibilities will include the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop marketing message and identity, and the detailed corresponding tactical events and timelines</li>
<li>Create and execute integrated marketing and public relations campaigns, including; direct marketing, advertising, branding, web content and branding, social media and newsletters, all public interaction campaigns</li>
<li>Draft copy and develop collateral material for campaigns ensuring consistency of message, and manage quality of external vendors or consultants</li>
<li>Manage and maintain strong government relations</li>
<li>Accountable for designing and delivering effective, financially responsible campaigns </li>
<li>Excellent analytical skills to design and conduct marketing research and analysis</li>
<li>Collaboration, creativity and an open mind is an absolute must</li>
<li>Work independently <em>and</em> within a team, under pressure and within tight deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to function at a high level in an ambiguous environment, making sense of the interconnected relationships and projects</li>
<li>High level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people at all levels inside and outside the organization, including; vendors, consultants and government representatives</li>
<li>Effectively prioritize and manage multiple, parallel and interconnected projects to deadlines and within cross-functional team environment</li>
<li>Identify and resolve problems effectively without direction</li>

<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising or marketing required</li>
<li>Minimum 3 Years related marketing, advertising or public relations experience required or Master’s degree in discipline area</li>
<li>Experience with automotive company is preferred</li>
<li>Experience managing the work of others is preferred; vendors, consultants, support staff</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft products required</li>
<li>Flexible, full-time work schedule required</li>
<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States</li>

Ability to implement interactive ad campaigns, be the Subject matter expert and act as a resource to all departments for implementation purposes, work with Web Programmers and Content Editors, building and managing keyword lists, writing meta data, creating text ads, setting bids, optimizing performance, and updating monthly reporting, promote social media activities internally, develop and execute a content marketing strategy for all thing interactive, leads and executes social marketing tactics (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Also, must be able to produce reports as needed.</p>
<p>Education/Skills required: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years related work experience. Working knowledge of HTML coding, minimum 3 years of Search Engine Optimization experience, experience with Google Analytics, experience and comfort using WordPress, strong written and verbal communication skills, basic web development skills including HTML and CSS.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Space Coast Economic Develop Commission has an opening for a Communications Specialist.</p>
<p>Under the direction of the Senior Director, Marketing and Policy Development, this position is responsible for: strategic communication with the media; maintaining media relations; preparing press releases, white papers, speeches, and collateral content; investor relations and organizational correspondence standards. The incumbent must be an experienced, entrepreneurial media and communications professional and have both the competency and demonstrated track record to recognize opportunities and respond effectively to key challenges in planning, preparing, and disseminating complex information to the public locally, nationally, and internationally.</p>
<p><strong> Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Respond to local and national media inquiries regarding time critical, confidential, and/or controversial issues; prepare speaking points for President &amp; CEO or designated spokesperson</li>
<li>Lead strategic communications between the media, investors, board members, strategic partners and internal staff</li>
<li>Prepare or edit organizational collateral, white papers, news releases, media advisories, Web content, publications, speeches, and other written material for varied audiences</li>
<li>Develop opportunities to position EDC as a leading source of economic development data, information, and research</li>
<li>Manage communication and outreach to investors and public to maintain favorable perception of the EDC’s accomplishments and mission</li>
<li>Organize public appearances, interviews, events, or trade shows for the EDC to increase awareness and to promote the Space Coast</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, public relations, or related field; MBA a plus<strong></strong></li>
<li>Exceptionally strong writing skills<strong></strong></li>
<li>Working knowledge of regional media</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of principles and practices of public relations and communications</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience and results in print or broadcast media</li>
<li>Knowledge of Space Coast economy, culture, and core industries</li>
<li>Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office, Internet search techniques, and social media</li>
<li>5-7 years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, marketing, or journalism</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Special requirements: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be available to attend after hours functions as required.</li>
</ul>
